I taught Vivien the phrase “hit the ground running” since that’s what we all did when she moved up to Seattle from Las Vegas during our rematch in August 2019. She got the expression right away. Vivien’s bright and quick with a sharp sense of humor. It was a time of great transition and thankfully she readily settled in, feeling instantly at home here, and making at least one new best friend. She’s so great with Lake and doesn’t take any guff from him.
