Lake Odin was born at Alaska Lake. That is where he was conceived before his conception.

It was a perfect sky blue day with not another soul at the alpine lake in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness of Washington State. His father and I had an intimate conversation about ourselves, our hopes, dreams, the future, and if they could ultimately be compatible. Before we left the lake I baptized our new lives by dipping my feet in the cold water and down we went. Descending the mountainside aligned in the promise of a shared family. When we returned to the car we ate solar-baked apples. Delicious! When we got home we dove into bed and never looked back.
